Conner Rosenblatt
Bio for Website: Thee Odd makes a mix of abstract and contemporary artwork. In the studio you will find pottery and paintings all made by Conner Rosenblatt. Conner is a local, Waltham based artist, who strives to share his joy of creating art and loving art with the people around him. Inspiration for his work comes from the beautiful Boston culture and the places he calls home. Each piece of Conner’s is unique and painted freehand with incredibly confident brushstrokes. His work is mainly in a monochrome color pallet but has been described as energetic and full of motion by folks in the art community. Since 2023 everything Conner sells is hand painted/hand thrown, accessible and completely original. “My art has always made me smile and there is nothing better than seeing something you're incredibly passionate about have the same effect on other people”. Conner Rosenblatt
Materials and Techniques: Thee Odd uses many different mediums and techniques but the coherent design throughout the pottery and paintings is the bold freehand flowers and foliage. Most paintings are done with watered down black acrylic, but there is some acrylic ink, and watercolor. Paintings are either matted or framed in white. Pottery is thrown using many different clay types including charcoal and porcelain and is glazed to ensure food safety.
