Denise Lafer

Bio for Website: Denise Lafer is an Abstract artist living in a suburb of Boston, MA. Her work in inspired by nature and the impact of major life events. Her paintings are often layered to incorporate acrylic, oil stick, watercolor or and pastel. Most recently plll with materials like tea bag paper and coffee. She currently works out of a studio in her home she shares with her husband and two children.

Materials and Techniques: My approach is mostly intuitive. I love experimenting with organic materials. I also love to mix mediums and build natural textures in most of my piece.
