Bio for Website: Jamie Tara’s landscape paintings are a personal archive of serenity and awe - inspired by vast, open spaces and distant horizons. Informed by nature, memory, and the beauty of everyday moments, and reflecting a deep reverence for nature, these landscapes bring a quiet elegance to interior spaces, inviting beauty into the rhythms of everyday life. Born and raised in Nova Scotia, Canada, Jamie Tara is an art educator residing in Boston. She holds a BFA from Ithaca College and an MA in Art and Design Education from Vermont College of Fine Arts. She exhibits regionally in shows around New England and beyond.

Materials and Techniques: I primarily work with oils, in studio, from photo references that I take myself. My collage work is analogue, cut-paper collage.
