Kathryn Lloyd Compton

Bio for Website: Kathryn graduated from The Minneapolis College and Design in 1974. Her graduate degree was completed in 1976 at Schiller College, Strasbourg France. Kathryn enjoys working from nature and structure, outdoors or through her window. At the present time, she's engaged in portrait art. For this Art Walk she's looking forward to exhibiting a new painting of a leafless poplar tree.

Materials and Techniques: Kathryn creates her art from a series of rough sketches on paper or canvas. She then determines the colors and values from photos and in person observation.
