Bio for Website: I am a self taught plein air watercolorist and blown glass artist who lives in Arlington, Mass. My work has been included in juried shows at the the New England Watercolor Society, Vermont Green Mountain Watercolor Society and the Woodstock School of Art, Woodstock NY

Materials and Techniques: I have always been inspired by light & color. I believe that having a foundation in realism gives me the ability to be free in how I capture the "sense of place" in my plein air. I continue to explore different media (pastel, oil, etc), believing that each challenges me in different ways. Most recently I’ve been attracted to glass blowing. I have found that moving between the 2 dimensional WATERCOLOR use of light & color and the 3 dimensional use of light and color in glass is inspiring me in new ways and my most recent glass incorporates my watercolor techniques.
